Ingredients

  • 1 bunch of fresh asparagus
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: grated Parmesan cheese for topping

Instructions

  • Wash the asparagus under cold water.
  • Trim the tough ends of the asparagus spears.
  • Pat the asparagus dry with a paper towel.
  • In a bowl, toss the asparagus with olive oil.
  • Sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and black pepper over the asparagus.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place the seasoned asparagus in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Check for doneness; the asparagus should be tender and slightly crispy.
  • If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top before serving.
