Ingredients

  • 2 cups of graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup of unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cups of cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup of chopped walnuts
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup of honey
  • 1/2 cup of water

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs with melted butter.
  • Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
  • In another bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Stir in vanilla extract and Greek yogurt until fully combined.
  • In a separate bowl, mix walnuts, cinnamon, honey, and water to create the baklava topping.
  • Pour half of the cheesecake mixture over the crust.
  • Add the baklava mixture on top, then pour the remaining cheesecake mixture over it.
  • Bake for 1 hour or until the center is set. Let it cool and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
