Peel the ripe bananas and cut them in half lengthwise.
Place the banana halves in a serving dish, cut side up.
Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream in between the banana halves.
Add a scoop of chocolate ice cream next to the vanilla.
Add a scoop of strawberry ice cream on the other side.
Drizzle chocolate syrup generously over the ice cream scoops.
Add strawberry syrup if desired.
Top with whipped cream on each scoop of ice cream.
Sprinkle chopped nuts over the whipped cream.
Finish by placing a maraschino cherry on top of each whipped cream dollop.
