Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
Pour in the beer and mix until just combined.
Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan.
Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the batter.
Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes.
Check doneness with a toothpick; it should come out clean.
Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
