Ingredients

  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped (optional)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese optional

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  • Add the egg noodles to the boiling water.
  • Cook the noodles according to package instructions until al dente.
  • Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain the noodles.
  • Return the drained noodles to the pot.
  • Add the butter to the warm noodles.
