Boil a pot of salted water and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
While the pasta cooks, melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
Add minced garlic to the pan and sauté until fragrant.
Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream, mixing well.
Add cheddar and parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
Season the cheese sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
Drain the cooked pasta and add it to the cheese sauce.
Toss the pasta in the sauce until fully coated.
Remove from heat and let it sit for a minute to thicken.
Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
