Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Sear the chicken in the skillet for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
Stir in the cooked rice and mix well.
Place the seared chicken on top of the rice mixture in the skillet.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese generously over the chicken.
Cover the skillet and bake for 20 minutes.
