Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup cold butter cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • In a large skillet, heat chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  • Add chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 20 minutes until cooked through.
  • Remove chicken and let it rest while preparing the biscuits.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Stir in milk until just combined; do not overmix.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit dough onto a baking sheet.
  • Bake biscuits for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
