Ingredients

  • 2 whole chickens 3-4 lbs each
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or your choice
  • Fresh herbs thyme or parsley for garnish
  • Optional: vegetables like broccoli or carrots

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Rinse the chickens and pat dry with paper towels.
  • Rub olive oil all over the chickens.
  • Season generously with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Place the chickens in a large baking dish.
  • In a separate bowl, mix heavy cream and chicken broth.
  • Pour the cream mixture over the chickens.
  • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.
  • Remove the foil, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
