Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs bone-in and skin-on
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  • In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  • Rub the spice mixture generously over the chicken thighs.
  • Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the chicken thighs skin-side down and sear for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  • Flip the chicken thighs and add lemon slices and chicken broth to the skillet.
  • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
