Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 3 tablespoons cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: herbs or spices for flavor

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Separate the egg whites from the yolks into two different bowls.
  • Add cream of tartar to the egg whites and beat until stiff peaks form.
  • In the yolk bowl, mix cream cheese and salt until smooth.
  • Gently fold the yolk mixture into the egg whites until just combined.
  • Scoop the batter onto the prepared baking sheet, forming 6 mounds.
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack.
  • Serve immediately or store for later use.
