Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate for drizzling

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a saucepan, combine water and butter; bring to a boil.
  • Add flour and salt, stirring until the mixture forms a ball.
  • Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes.
  • Beat in eggs one at a time until the dough is smooth.
  • Spoon or pipe the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  • Allow to cool completely before filling.
  • Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  • Fill the cooled puffs with whipped cream and drizzle with melted chocolate.
