Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Your choice of sauces

Instructions

  • Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat dry.
  • Mix buttermilk with seasonings and marinate the wings for at least 30 minutes.
  • Combine flour and additional seasonings in another bowl.
  • Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  • Remove wings from marinade and coat in the flour mixture.
  • Fry the wings in batches for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  • Use a slotted spoon to remove wings and drain on paper towels.
  • Serve hot with your choice of sauces.
