Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  • In a bowl, mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • In another bowl, beat the eggs until well mixed.
  • Place the breadcrumbs in a separate shallow dish.
  • Dredge each shrimp in the flour mixture, shaking off excess flour.
  • Dip the shrimp into the beaten eggs, ensuring they are well coated.
  • Coat the shrimp with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  • Fry the shrimp in batches, without overcrowding the pan, until golden brown (about 2-3 minutes per side).
  • Remove the shrimp and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
