Fold in the mixed dried fruits and nuts if using.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Decorate with fresh fruits and icing once completely cooled.
