Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 medium potatoes peeled and diced
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or mozzarella
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking
  • Fresh herbs optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add chopped onions and minced garlic; sauté until soft.
  • Increase heat and add ground beef; cook until browned.
  • Season the beef with paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Stir in the diced potatoes and mix well with the beef.
  • Pour in the beef broth, cover, and reduce heat to low.
  • Simmer for 15-20 minutes until potatoes are tender.
  • Remove the lid and sprinkle cheese on top.
  • Cover again until cheese melts.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
