In a bowl, mix flour and salt.
Add diced butter and blend until crumbly.
Gradually add ice water until the dough forms.
Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Roll out the dough on a floured surface.
Cut circles using a large cookie cutter or glass.
Place filling in the center of each circle.
Fold the dough over and seal the edges with a fork.
Brush with egg wash and place on a baking sheet.
Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
