In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add sliced Italian sausage and sauté until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
Add diced tomatoes and Italian seasoning to the skillet.
Season with salt and pepper, then bring the mixture to a simmer.
Cook for about 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
Once pasta is cooked, drain and reserve some pasta water.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss with the sausage sauce.
If necessary, add a splash of reserved pasta water for desired consistency.
