In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk and let sit for 5 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
Add melted butter and eggs to the dry ingredients.
Mix in the yeast mixture until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
Once doubled in size, punch down the dough and roll it out on a floured surface.
Cut out circles using a cookie cutter or glass.
Place the circles on a baking sheet and add a spoonful of filling in the center.
Fold the edges over the filling and pinch to seal. Brush with egg wash.
Allow to rise for an additional 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20 minutes until golden.
