Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of brioche or challah bread
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • Butter for greasing

Instructions

  • Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter.
  • Slice the bread into thick pieces.
  • Arrange slices in the baking dish, overlapping slightly.
