Ingredients

  • 1 box of vanilla cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 can 14 oz of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup of raspberry or strawberry puree
  • 1 cup of whipped cream
  • Fresh berries for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, and water. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes until well blended.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  • Poke holes into the cooled cake using a skewer or fork.
  • In a bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk and puree.
  • Pour the mixture over the holes in the cake, allowing it to soak in.
  • Top with whipped cream and fresh berries before serving.
