Slice each sweet potato in half lengthwise.
Place the sweet potato halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.

Use a brush or your hands to coat the sweet potatoes well.
Roast in the oven for 30-40 minutes, until tender.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
