Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Add in the vanilla extract and mix well.
Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
Gently fold the dry ingredients into the egg mixture until just combined.
Pour the batter onto the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
While baking, prepare a clean kitchen towel and sprinkle it with powdered sugar.
Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and immediately flip it onto the prepared towel.
Carefully peel off the parchment paper and roll the cake up in the towel. Let it cool completely.
