  • Begin by gathering all your ingredients on a clean workspace.
  • Cube the Velveeta cheese into small pieces for easier melting.
  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add the cubed cheese.
  • Pour in the can of Rotel tomatoes with their juices.
  • If using, add the cooked ground beef or sausage to the pan.

  • Add the black beans, chili powder, garlic powder, and cumin.
