Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh salmon skin removed and diced
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Burger buns
  • Lettuce tomato, and other desired toppings

Instructions

  • Start by preparing the salmon: remove the skin and dice it into small pieces.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the diced salmon, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, and parsley.
  • Add the beaten egg and Dijon mustard to the mixture.
  • Season with salt and pepper, mixing everything until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into patties, about 3/4 inch thick.
  • Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat and lightly oil it.
  • Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  • While the patties cook, prepare your burger buns and toppings.
  • Assemble the burgers with the cooked patties, lettuce, tomato, and any other desired toppings.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
