Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 1 cup lettuce shredded
  • 1 medium tomato sliced
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Gather all ingredients: bread, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and mayonnaise.
  • Wash the lettuce and slice the tomato.
  • Take two slices of bread and lay them on a clean surface.
  • Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice.
  • Layer lettuce on one slice of bread.
  • Add slices of tomato over the lettuce.
  • Place cheese on top of the tomato.
  • Top with the second slice of bread, mayonnaise side down.
  • Press gently to compress the sandwich.
  • Cut the sandwich in half diagonally for easy eating.
