Whisk together the flour and salt in a separate bowl.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until a dough forms.
Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently.
Roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick.
Cut out cookies using a round cookie cutter.
Place cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
Remove from oven and let cool on a wire rack.
