Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  • Wash the strawberries thoroughly and remove the stems.

  • Mash the macerated strawberries gently with a fork.
  • Add the mashed strawberries to the cream mixture and stir to combine.
  • Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Transfer the churned ice cream into a container and freeze for at least 4 hours to firm up.
