Ingredients

  • 2 cups pretzel sticks
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 package 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 container 8 oz whipped topping, thawed
  • 2 cups strawberries sliced
  • 1 package 6 oz strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Crush the pretzel sticks into small pieces and place them in a bowl.
  • Mix the crushed pretzels with melted butter and 3 tablespoons of sugar.
  • Spread the pretzel mixture evenly in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool completely.
  • In a separate bowl, combine softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  • Fold in the whipped topping gently until well incorporated.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
  • In another bowl, dissolve the strawberry gelatin in 2 cups of boiling water.
  • Stir in the sliced strawberries, then pour this mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
