Add the grated zucchini to the wet mixture and stir until combined.
Gradually fold in the dry ingredients until just combined; do not overmix.
If desired, fold in nuts or chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
