Ingredients

  • 2 medium zucchinis sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs thyme or oregano

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Wash and slice the zucchinis into thin rounds.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cheese and breadcrumbs.
  • Layer half of the zucchini slices in a greased baking dish.
  • Sprinkle half of the cheese and breadcrumb mixture over the zucchini.
  • Add the remaining zucchini slices on top.
  • Pour milk over the layers evenly.
  • Top with the remaining cheese and breadcrumb mixture.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and herbs.
  • Bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
