Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet 1 oz ranch dressing mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup onion chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil optional
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the crockpot by greasing it lightly with olive oil.
  • Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
  • In a bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, ranch dressing mix, and chicken broth.
  • Pour the mixture over the chicken breasts.
  • Add chopped onions on top of the chicken.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Cover the crockpot and set it on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  • Once cooked, shred the chicken directly in the gravy using two forks.
  • Stir the mixture until well combined.
  • Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
