Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 4-5 ripe tomatoes sliced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Place the pie crust in a pie dish and pre-bake for 10 minutes.
  • Slice the tomatoes and sprinkle with salt. Let them sit to drain excess moisture.
  • In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and basil.
  • Spread a layer of drained tomato slices in the pre-baked crust.
  • Layer half of the cheese mixture over the tomatoes.
  • Add another layer of tomato slices, followed by the remaining cheese mixture.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
  • Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
